Jerry Dean Morin, 67, of International Falls, Minnesota, died on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Essentia Health – St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth, Minnesota.

Jerry was born December 3, 1954 to Jim and Shirley Morin.

He married Shelly LaJambe on December 5, 1984.

He was in the Marine Corp for four years.

Jerry enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and his favorite thing was to be with his granddaughters. They went on many adventures such as walking trails, fishing, and tubing in the boat. He was totally a family man. He loved with his whole heart. He also loved to torment the cats because he knew it drove his wife crazy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Jim Morin.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Shelly; daughter, Chrystal Rousseau (Jeremy Harrier); two beautiful granddaughters, Kayloni Rousseau and Maci Lyn Rousseau; his mother-in-law, Donna LaJambe whom he loved very much, she thought of him as her own son; his brothers and sisters, Mick Morin Sr., Martin Morin, Trisha Grill, Marilyn Grill, Julie Morin, Jamie Morin Jr., and Terry Morin; many nieces and nephews; and special person whom he always called his second daughter, Nicole Gartzke.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
