Stacey Ann Aus (Wolfe of Fresno California went home to her Lord and Savior on January 14, 2022. Stacey was born in Int’l Falls Minnesota on May 24th, 1963. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Birdie Wolfe and her loving rescue dogs Donny and The Dude. Stacey was a very passionate person, she may have lived in California for many years but never lost her love for Minnesota sports. She shared her love of music with her husband and believed in education with her quest for a higher education throughout her life and bettering the lives of many, whether they had 2 or 4 legs. She is survived by her caring, loving, supportive husband David, her dogs Dixie, Walter and Larry, her Mother in Law, Deb Johnson, Father in Law Bob Aus, her siblings, Bob, Jayne (Jim), Diana (Brian), Patrick (Jan Marie), Brother in Law, Fred (Stacy), Brother in Law, Mike (Helen), many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt’s, uncles, clients and friends. If one can’t be here in full body, then sailing through the Universe as an Angel isn’t a bad place to be.

Input on deer goals sought

Beginning Monday, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is asking for public input on deer population goals in 28 of 130 deer permit areas. “We’re continuing with an online questionnaire this year and adding webinars for those who wish to connect directly with area wildlife managers on this topic,” said Barbara Keller, DNR big game program leader.

Fellow photographer Gordy Lindgren snapped a photo of Ben Sunne “suffering for his art” as he lay in wait, at -22 degrees for a pair of spruce grouse to come toward him for a photo. Sunne’s technique seems to have worked.
