VNP Trail Report

Things continue to come along nicely, though a bit slower than some might prefer. It took the crew about 4 days to clear blowdown along the Chain of Lakes Trail. They are expecting a lot of blow down along the Black Bay Ski Trails as well. Through their diligence the Chain of Lakes is now open, as is the first loop on the Black Bay Ski Trail.

Go blue to recognize frontline workers

Frontline workers have kept essential services operating during the pandemic, minimizing disruption to daily lives. They continue to play a critical role in protecting our communities’ health and safety. To show support and thanks, Project Blue Light will ask businesses and residences to turn the Arrowhead Region blue from Monday through Jan. 31. They can do that by lighting the exterior of their home or business with a blue light or bulb or string lights as a show of support and thanks.
