2022 derby day
Mother Nature smiled on Rainy Lake Saturday afternoon during the Rainy Lake Sportfishing Club’s annual derby. With a respite from the frigid temperatures, angling to benefit the Rainy Lake resources drew many to the ice for fishing, fun, food and friends. RLSC leaders report 50 perch, 29 walleye, 7 northern and 32 white fish or tullibee brought to the derby circle.
Voyageurs’ season ends in double overtime
COON RAPIDS – After leading by 13 points at halftime, the Rainy River Community College men’s basketball team saw its season end in double overtime Friday, Feb. 25.
