March 8 is International Women’s Day. Don’t ask me how I know this. I just do. So let us speak of Woman, specifically the International Woman. I like her. Very much. In my opinion She deserves much more than a day. But time waits for no man. Or woman, it seems. So… let’s get to it.

International Falls land port of entry will be modernized with a portion $250 million of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal signed into law by President Joe Biden. The Falls project, along with the port at Grand Portage, has been awarded $250 million to expand processing and inspection capacity.
Students at International Falls public schools are no longer required to wear face masks inside district buildings. The Falls School Board Monday supported its administrative team’s recommendation to immediately end its face mask mandate for school buildings, in place since the start of the school year, based on current quarantine rates, case rates, and county data.
The International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will close April 30, following a vote of the membership Tuesday. Membership present, or by proxy, voted in favor of the resolution to cease operations of the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, by a vote of 17 for and 12 against, chamber president Tricia Heibel told chamber members in an email.
