Kettle Falls Hotel operations open for concession

The National Park Service anticipates releasing sometime this fall a prospectus for operating the Kettle Falls Hotel and operations, a concession business opportunity to provide lodging, food and beverage, retail, marina, and other services at Kettle Falls within Voyageurs National Park. The prospectus will describe the business opportunity and the terms and conditions of Concession Contract #CC-VOYA002-24 (Draft Contract). The park service plans a site visit for interested parties Oct. 3, or depending on weather conditions, Oct. 4, in advance of its notice to seek operators. Because of Borderland’s winter conditions, another site visit will not be provided after release of the prospectus. Kettle Falls is only accessible by air, boat or snowmobile, depending on weather conditions. The site visit will provide interested parties an overview of the concession operation and a tour of the concession facilities: land and real property improvements assigned to the concessioner under the draft contract Registration is required for the site visit. Contact Kelly Kager, NPS commercial services specialist, Regions 3, 4, 5 via email at kelly_kager@nps.gov no later than Sept. 26.
