Eight Indus School ProStart culinary students traveled to Minnesota North College in Hibbing on Nov. 17 to assist with preparations for a community Thanksgiving dinner there, serving 300 people.

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference announced its athletes of the week ending Dec. 4 and Rainy River’s Kiarra Edley earned North Division Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week. Edley had backto- back double-doubles that week scoring 34 points and grabbing 33 rebounds in 3 games.
