Konner Repp fishes most every day, and is on his high school’s fishing team.A regular largemouth angler, the 15-year old from Blaine made memories experiencing the Rainy Lake walleye bite on a three-day trip earlier this month with legendary guide and local history buff Mike Williams.Those memories – along with the photos of big walleye he caught - will be shared with doctors and nurses as he undergoes preparations for a heart transplant.Talking about the trip July 8 on the deck of Thunderbird Lodge, Konner looked at Williams and said it’s what he wants to do someday.“It’s special, it’s once in a lifetime,” Konner said of the trip.
