June Marie Etienne, 84, of International Falls, Minnesota died on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Society in International Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in International Falls, MN with Rev. Thomas Galarneault officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20 and from 9 – 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in International Falls.

June was born on June 22, 1937, in International Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Theodore and Marie (Turenne) Coulombe. She graduated from International Falls High School in 1955. She then married Randolph S. Etienne on September 12, 1955, in International Falls while he was on leave from the US Air Force. Upon his discharge they made their home in International Falls and she has resided there since.

Over the years she worked as a nurse’s aide at the Falls Memorial Hospital, for Wolfe Hardware, Rexall Drug, White Drug, and Dr. Lee’s Chiropractic office.

She was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed her cats and dogs, knitting and visiting with friends.

June is survived by her three children, Ted (Kathy) Etienne, Lu-Anne Etienne, and Mannie (Betty) Etienne, all of International Falls, Minnesota; two granddaughters, Ashley (Donovan) Lutgen of Crookston, Minnesota and Hanna Etienne of Scappoose, Oregon; two great grandsons, Xander and Lucas Lutgen of Crookston, Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Etienne; her parents; and 3 brothers, Roland (Millie) Coulombe, Louis Coulombe and Paul Coulombe. Condolences may be left at ceasefuneralhome.com
