Carol Kay Lepper was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother (or “Nonni”), sister and friend. She departed this world too soon on September 18, 2021, with her sister Jean by her side. Carol was preceded in death by her soulmate, husband, and heart, Charles (Chuck) Lepper; Blanche and William Chowan (parents); Don Chowan (brother) and many other beloved family and friends. She leaves behind a heartbroken family – Tiffany Ruff (daughter) and Brian (Ty) Ruff (son-in-law), Tracey Tierney (daughter) and Justin Tierney (son-in-law), Harlowe and Charlie Tierney (grand-children), Clara Hardy (sister), Linda Oustad (sister) and Jean Mad-den (sister), Leroy and Trudy Lepper (brother and sister in-law), Karen Aklestad (“Sissy”), in addition to an immense group of cousins, nieces, nephews, and so, so many friends. Carol will be remembered as someone who lived and loved out loud. Her boundless energy was channeled co-owning and running their family businesses through the years. Chuck was always at the front of the house, but behind the scenes she ran the show. Her infectious laugh bellowed out from the kitchen table, and her door and heart were always open to anyone and everyone. One of the things she loved the most was creating a space for everyone to feel comfortable and cared for. Her home became a daily meeting place and second home to so many throughout the years. Nearly every holiday and special occasion was celebrated to the fullest – so many decorations, music, and an over-abundance of delicious food. She was as strong as she was stubborn, she was wise, caring, she had the biggest heart, and she was always there to support whomever needed it. She will deeply missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be planned for Saturday, October 23rd. Location and time to be announced at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.greenlarsen.com. Arrangements are with Green-Larsen Mortuary, Inc.
