John Martin Wiemer, 69, of International Falls, Minnesota died on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Rainy Lake Medical Center.

John was born May 31, 1952 to William Oscar Weimer and Ellen Margret Wiemer (Olsen) in International Falls.

He loved music and cooking. He also enjoyed singing with his children and grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ellen Wiemer; and his daughter, Megan Patnaude.

He is survived by his son, Brian Allan Wiemer; daughter, Sophie Ann (Charles) Koester; grandchildren, Brandon Wiemer-Koester, Alyssa Mae Sheri Koester, and Charlee Jalynn Koester; and brothers, William Oscar Wiemer Jr. and Duane Henry Wiemer.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls.

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, International Falls.
