William ”Skeeter” Morin, Jr.

William “Skeeter” Morin, Jr. age 62 of International Falls, Minnesota, died on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth, MN.

Skeeter was born on August 11, 1960 in International Falls to parents, William “Butch” Morin Sr. and Zona Lee (Tolpingrud) Morin. On August 14, 1982 he married Tammy Hallin. They recently renewed their vows on August 13, 2022.

He was a mechanic, a carpenter, and an all-around “jack of all trades”. There is nothing he couldn’t do. He loved being in the garage, going camping, playing with his grandkids, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed going to the casino, and fourwheeling in the woods with his wife for their alone time to enjoy wildlife. When he was younger he enjoyed bow hunting, stock car racing and being his dad’s pit man.

Skeeter was preceded in death by his grandmother, Julia Wolden; grandfather, Ole Tolpingrud; grandmother, Jennie Morin; grandfather, Martin Morin; mother, Zona Morin; niece, Kimberly Jo Morin, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his beloved wife of forty-two years, Tammy Morin; daughters, Brandi (Adam) Lehman, Nicole (Eric) Etherington, Holly (Jordan) Pensak; grandchildren, Richard, Caydon, and Alex Lehman, Morgan Morin-Demars, Kane Pensak, Camber Etherington; father, William “Butch” Morin Sr.; brothers, Zach Morin, Shane Morin of Littlefork, MN; brother-in-law, Jeff Hallin; sisters, Johanna Morin, Lavette Morin of International Falls; and numerous nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Skeeter and Tammy’s home.
