The Bronco girls swimming and diving team has been recognized by the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association with the silver academic award for the past season, with the team’s combined 3.46 grade point average.“We had a great season, and the future of the Bronco girls swim/dive team is looking bright,” said Coach JJ McBride.

The International Falls Bronco girls hockey team started the season at home with a pair of losses last Friday and Saturday.Friday’s game against Dryden had two scoreless periods from both teams, but the Eagles found the net twice in the third period and get the 0-2 victory over the home team Broncos.Saturday the team played Thief River Falls at Bronco Arena where the visiting Prowlers were led by Lila Dalager’s five goals and an assist in a 0-9 defeat of International Falls.Bronco senior goalie Mara Pelland had 55 saves.The boys team officially opens its season at 6 p.m.
The following “recipes” are students in Brittany Eldien’s first grader class at Falls Elementary School.
An Open Mic evening will be hosted by Open Range Concerts at 7 p.m.
