Bronco cross country

The Bronco boys and girls cross country teams placed in the upper half of the teams in Warroad Monday.The boys team placed third with a score of 68, and were led by Brendon Scholler who placed eighth individually with a time of 19:58.6.Five of his teammates would also squeeze into the top 25: Camden Deedrick (10), Max Youso (11), Caleb Peters (19), Sean Brubacher (20), and Andrew Dale (23).The girls team placed fourth with a score of 74, and were led by Lola Hall who placed second with a 22:39.4.The other girls running were Julia Dykstra (15), Ellie Kooistra (22), Braelyn Domitrovich (29), Abbie Sather (32), and Mariah Hostetter (34) as the anchor.The teams were over in Roseau Sept.

The Viking football team got a dominant win on the road last Friday at Blackduck High School for the Week 2 matchup.The Vikings beat the Drakes 50-14 led by the efforts of Jax Sullivan, A.J.

Bronco volleyball

The Bronco volleyball team was at Greenway Saturday for a tournament in which the Broncos would go 1-3 on the day.The Broncos lost first to Mora 0-2 (12-25, 21-25), then to NE Range (15-25, 16-25), then they bounced back with a win over Nashwauk-Keewatin 2-1 (18-25, 25-23, 15-10).The team ended the day with a loss to Cherry 0-2 (22-25, 16-25).The Broncos found lots of success in the Sept.

Bronco football

Last Friday, the Bronco football team was at home against Hinckley-Finlayson where they got another dominant win 45-14 improving to 2-0 on the season.Cooper Crandall got the job done on the ground rushing 109 yards on 12 attempts and scoring 3 touchdowns.Hayden Swenson rushed in for a TD while also throwing 15/22 for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns.
