Last week at the club meeting for the Rotary Club of International Falls, additional updates were provided on the upcoming Community Action Poverty Simulation.Kelly Hagen, chief nursing officer at Rainy Lake Medical Center, or RLMC, hosted the program for the meeting and invited Marygaye Tate to speak on her experience as the director of emergency department at RLMC.Tate brings a depth of knowledge and experience in nursing and leadership, having worked in many different hospitals and trauma centers across the country.

Class of 1957

Members of the FHS Class of ’57, called the greatest class ever, held their annual class luncheon on July 18.Twenty-three class members and guests enjoyed the hospitality of the Island View Lodge while having an opportunity to swap stories and have a few laughs.Classmate Norm Boyum donated a copy of his new book, “Ray – Ray – Ray” as a door prize.

Designing the concerns out
