Broncos gear up for induction
Tickets for the 2024 Bronco Hall of Fame induction ceremony and banquet will go on sale Monday, March 4, at Falls High School.The event will be held at the Backus Community Center, International Falls, April 13.Four individuals will be inducted into the athletic hall of fame:• Craig Dahl• David Laurion• Howard Nevanen• Bruce SchmidtTwo teams will be inducted:• The 1992 girls 4 x 800 relay team that placed second at the state meet.

A different kind of derby was had last Saturday when the Rainy Lake Sportfishing Club held its annual fundraiser at Smokey Bear Park this year because of the lack of adequate cold temperatures to hold it on ice.
