Financial Aid Night

Seniors at Falls High School and Littlefork-Big Falls School and their families can find out Wednesday about financial assistance and get the “Free Application for Federal Student Aid,” or FAFSA.This is the form that must be completed to get any financial aid from the federal government to help pay for college.The event runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

A feel-good story

The holding facility is still quiet, but that’s not uncommon for January.We do have a feel good community story, though.The International Falls police found a dog wandering in the bitter cold last Thursday night, so they brought the dog to the BHS holding facility.Rowland, one of the BHS volunteers, arrived for his regular volunteer shift at 6:30 a.m., he sent Betsy pictures of the dog and the intake form by 6:35 a.m.
