The Littlefork-Big Falls football team celebrated the team’s season in an end of the year awards banquet recently.AJ Knaeble, junior defensive back, was awarded the District 9 Man defensive player of the year; named to the All District team were Knaeble, Seth Donner, Wyatt Hell, and Anthony Boorman.Hell also received the special teams player of the year.

Dinner gathering
Another annual celebration, the Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner at Elks Lodge 1599 in International Falls, was deemed a success.Organizers reported that 713 people were served dinner that involved about 100 volunteers in varying tasks the day before and on Thanksgiving Day.
Jail project moves forward
