A benefit Bingo night at International Falls VFW Post 2948 will support older adult programming at Koochiching Aging Options. Doors at the VFW, 1416 Third Ave., International Falls will open to the public at 5 p.m., Thursday, May 8, with games starting at 7 p.m. A light supper will be available from the VFW Auxiliary. Game and raffle prizes have been chosen to celebrate family activities. A silent auction will feature a unique quilt by a local master quilter.

The International Falls Bronco softball team split a doubleheader Wednesday, losing 11-0 against Cherry and winning against Mountain Iron-Buhl, 16-6.
Another wait on bandshell
It will be at least another 30 days to get more information on a proposed settlement on the Pete Peterson Bandshell from an insurance provider and the International Falls City Council doesn’t like it.
