Broncos recognized
The Broncos boys basketball team closed out the season with a banquet celebrating players and cheerleaders last week and giving out the following team awards:

Community members are starting up a cornhole competition at Birchdale Community Hall, with the first meeting taking place on Sunday, March 23.

MCAC awards
Right-handed pitcher Preston Dyok, who plays for the Minnesota North College Rainy River Voyageur baseball team, was awarded the Minnesota College Athletic Conference North Division Baseball Pitcher of the Week for March 17-23.
Bronco track, field
The International Falls Bronco boys and girls track and field teams started their seasons Saturday at the UW-Superior Indoor meet.
Rainy River
The Minnesota North College Rainy River Voyageurs baseball and softball teams were on the road this past weekend.
Mustang wrestling
The Mustangs competed in two different wrestling tournaments this past weekend.
