The IFalls Team 2 Feb. 22 took home another first-place win at its Knowledge Bowl meet, finishing off the regular season. They once again reached a 100+ score and will move onto Regions on March 14. A top three placement at Regions would send IFalls Team 2 again onto the State meet, the ultimate goal for the seniors on the team.

Borderland Mustang wrestlers brought home medals from two recent tournaments. In Fertile, two silver and one bronze medal were earned, and in Proctor, two gold, three bronze and three fourth-place finishes, coach Jeremy Mann reported.

The International Falls boys hockey team competed Feb. 21 in the Section 7A quarterfinals, with a loss against Rock Ridge, 9-0.
Nominations are open for the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce recognition of citizen, large business and small business of the year, and the Chamber Pillar Award. The awards will be celebrated and presented at an awards banquet and gala Thursday, April 27, at the Thunderbird Lodge.
