The Indus Homecoming Court included Queen Cory Black, Queen Janine Johnson, Prince Ilya Letyagin, Princess Megan Munro, sophomore attendant Calli Erickson, and sophomore attendant Randy Jones… Services were conducted February 27 for Raymond D. Berg, 81, who died on February 23 in Duluth. Berg was an artist, art teacher in area schools, sports advocate, cultivator of music and the theater, traveler and tour director, dean of students and president of Rainy River Community College.

Elks student of the month

The International Falls School Board and Elks Lodge 1599 recently recognized Nora Sullivan as one of the January students of the month. Kevin Grover, district superintendent and member of Elks Lodge 1599, provided the following about Sullivan: Nora is the daughter of Darcy and Robert Sullivan.

And a defamation lawsuit against Fox has subpoenaed internal memos showing that the network’s top stars managed to forget what is fact and what is not and why they should care.

Moving fast

The Minnesota Legislature is moving fast these days. The number of bills introduced since the session began less than two months ago has now raced past 2000, and it appears that many more are still to come, reports the Minnesota Newspaper Association.

Duller Days
