A Jackpine Lake Christmas
One thing I appreciated straight away when delegated the task of arranging a location for a family Christmas afternoon meal, was the fact that nothing online was involved. No logging in, no high speed internet, and no waiting for confirmation at breakneck speed, no concern that everyone who ever wanted to snoop in on a north woods venue, place and time, would be in the know.

Christmas Day dinner on track
Family, friends, and neighbors will join with others in the community to share a meal and more Sunday. All are invited to the annual Community Christmas Day Dinner from noon to 2 p.m.
L-BF second graders share letters to Santa
Littlefork-Big Falls Elementary second graders in Betsy Brokaw’s class shared their visions of what Santa might leave below the tree. Many also share their good wishes to Santa and the crew in the North Pole.

Broncos versus Muskies
The Border Battle between the Fort Frances Muskie and International Falls Bronco boys hockey team was played Dec. 16, for the first since Feb. 4, 2020. The game was a back-andforth battle early with both teams getting chances and some big hits.
