Lights and dazzle

The Home for the Holidays Community Parade Friday, after Thanksgiving, drew large number of spectators under balmy November temperatures. The effort was again led by Rainy Lake Medical Center, and other community members.

Hilke: Facing new challenges

Dan Hilke intends to ride snowmobile in Borderland. “That’s my goal,” he said, describing the best network of scenic trails just about anywhere, “to come back and snowmobile, somehow.” The 1987 Falls High School graduate said he may send a photo to show his achievement, because it’s not as easy for him as it once was.
