Madison Lowe, Minnesota North College - Rainy River forward, earned the Minnesota College Athletic Conference North Division Women’s Basketball Athleteof- the-Week of Nov. 14-20. In her 86 minutes of playing time over three games, Lowe was 10 for 22 from the field, scoring 25 points and collecting 21 rebounds to lead her team to a 2-1 record during the week.

Kathleen (Kathy) Mary Breneman of Ray, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Rainy Lake Medical Center, with her loving husband at her side, surrounded by close family. Kathy was born to Fred and Rose (Braun) Hauck on July 9, 1946 in Beulah, North Dakota. She married William Gardner on December of 28, 1965 and soon after he tragically lost his life due to a work accident in 1972. Kathy and her daughters lived in North Dakota until they moved to International Falls in 1977. On September 9, 1989 she was united in marriage to Bloyd Breneman of Ray, Minnesota.
LeRoy Victor Dahl, 81, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Littlefork Care Center. LeRoy was born on February 3, 1941 on the Dahl homestead in Mizpah, MN to Martin and Florence Dahl.
