Jen Schultz supports important issues

This year I will be voting for Jen Schultz for our Congressional Representative from District 8. I know I can count on Jen to support all the issues that are important to me. She supports reproductive rights, access to contraception, abortion, and an individual’s right to privacy.

ASK A TROOPER

IJC should have opened gates sooner

Last summer 2021, we had a severe drought. The lake was very low in late summer and fall. The drought ended sometime in October. It started raining and snowing in November and basically never stopped all winter long. Our usual January thaw never happened in 2022. This thaw normally melts some snow and settles things down for a week to 10 days. Then about March 13, we received 13 inches of wet heavy snow on top of a lot of snow and ice already on the ground and lakes. This heavy snow was followed by ongoing heavy rains. Common sense would tell you that we were going to get some flooding.
