Lots of action at Big Bass Lake’s Idaho Avenue address these days, just North of Highway #2 at the Edge of the Wilderness. Daughter and spouse are making progress in building the home of their dreams on their portion of that 43-year historical family property.

by Sgt. Jesse Grabow Minnesota State Patrol Question: Why are so many vehicles allowed to be on Minnesota roads with only a rear license plate? This seems to be especially true of late model expensive makes (Tesla, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, etc.).

Ecklund: Who northern Minnesota needs

To the editor, Rob Ecklund is doing a great job as our State Representative and has never forgotten where he came from. This year he successfully authored two important bills by working across the aisle to benefit Northern Minnesota and our veterans.

CO Reports

Monday CO Darrin Kittelson (International Falls #1) reports time was spent instructing at Camp Ripley Academy 21 for sport fishing enforcement. Bear baiting was monitored throughout the station, as was ATV activity.
