It is mid-April, the weather has been slowly warming allowing the most snow we have gotten in years to slowly melt. While I might be more than ready for things to start growing, I do appreciate the slow melt for allowing water to soak into the ground and not puddle quite as much. Tax season is just about over (I’ve submitted mine and hope you have gotten yours in as well) and it is time to look forward to warm, sunny days.

FES Birthday Bookshelf

March members have been added to the Birthday Bookshelf Club to assist the book fund at Falls Elementary School. State results

The Falls High Knowledge Team competed at the state meet April 7 and April 8 and finished in 12th place out of 24 teams. .

KAPE update

As an introduction to the community: I was hired in January as the KAPE project coordinator. I graduated from Falls High School in 2014, received an AA degree from Rainy River Community College and went on to Bemidji State University to receive my elementary education degree. I was previously an elementary teacher in the ISD 361 district. I am very excited
