Crazy Days draws many

Crazy Days July 27 drew businesses, shoppers, and many others out in the community for the annual retail promotion. Organized by the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, the annual event was returned to its traditionally July date this year.

RLMC culture attracts new hire

Rainy Lake Medical Center’s culture is what attracted its new director of imaging. Melanie Britten, who has a long history in healthcare, said after taking a temporary hiatus from the industry, she was looking for more than just a job when she began searching for the next step in her life.

Rotary Club

Chamber: Action needed now

As rebuilding of the International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce continues, chamber leadership is asking members to consider volunteering for a few committees that need action now. Betsy Zaren, chamber board chair and past chamber president, said as details of an input survey for members and non-members are finalized, some types of committees need action now.

Chamber expands board

The International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce continues to rebuild, adding new board members and setting its annual Crazy Daze promotion for July 27. Betsy Zaren and Shawn Mason, who have each served in the past as chamber president, met with the International Falls City Council last week to provide an update on the rebuild, and to ask the city to participate in the promotion.
