February in addition to Valentines Day is Library Lovers month. So stop by the library and discover what there is to love about your library. We are loving the new fireplace insert in the junior room. It is so cozy to sit and read in front of the fire. And that would be especially nice if you were returning snowshoes after being outside exploring. But we want to know what you think is the best feature of the library.

ISD 361 Community Ed Report

Jan. 18: We began Water Fitness again. This is a popular class. We have seen a big increase of people coming to the adult lap swim in the mornings. The time for morning lap swim is 6:15 to 7:30. We are talking about extending the time to 8 so that people can stagger their time.

KAO receives grant

Koochiching Aging Options is among two dozen organizations to receive grants from the Northland Foundation during the final quarter of 2021. The International Falls agency was awarded $25,000 to provide services to older adults and caregivers to help them maintain independence and age in place.
