This year the Indus School graduation class had five students: Chase Steinbach, Ulrich Picar, Colin Leahy, Jade Etienne and Lydia Black. It was an intimate graduation ceremony at the school gymnasium, with lots of personal stories about each graduate from the speakers.

County Road 46 in front of City Beach and leading to Ranier Beach has been closed as water has overflowed it. Staff with Schultz snapped a photo as workers unloaded sandbags on the west end of the road.
Ranier’s waterfront has a new look, as just the items holding docks down can be seen above the surface. On the shoreline at the left is Tara’s Warf and popular spot for ice cream on hot days when the water is lower.
Water is up to the doorstep at a house on County Road 20, on the opposite side of Rainy Lake. .
All modes of delivering sandbags are being used, as a small tractor goes to a site. .
