L-BFThe December 2023 students of the month were recognized recently.The Littlefork-Big Falls December 2023 Student of the Month for senior high is Julianna Holte and for junior high is Damien Juen, reports Kathy Siltman, L-BF School secretary.Dean’s listAriana Vacura, International Falls, has met the criteria for the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester at Oak Hills Christian College in Bemidji.To the eligible: The student must be full-time with 12 credits or more of graded classes; have a semester GPA of 3.50 or above; and may not have a grade below a “C” or a No Pass on their transcript for the semester being calculated.

Local student Caleb Levene, son of Christina Morrison and Shannon Kremer, International Falls, recently received the North Dakota State University Provost Award.The award recognizes students who have a 3.65-3.799 high school grad point average or have scored a 25-28 on the ACT, American College Testing, and have a 3.5 or higher high school GPA.Levene entered NDSU in the fall and is majoring in computer engineering.
