CLIMB Theatre will visit Littlefork-Big Falls School, bringing interactive theatre programming in two sessions on Tuesday, Nov.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Americanism contest was a coloring contest for students in grades K through 4, and a veteran interview for students in grades 5 and 6.The auxiliary also invited the Littlefork-Big Falls School students to participate as several of the members of the Littlefork Auxiliary transferred to the Falls when it closed.Organizers of the contest report that 274 students participated from the three schools.

The Littlefork-Big Falls School Board recently recognized the students of the month for October 2023.Wyatt Hell was recognized for senior high, and Braeson Porter for the junior high.The students are selected after being nominated by teachers, reports Kathy Siltman, L-BF High School Secretary.

Minnesota North College announces the launch of the state of Minnesota’s North Star Promise Scholarship Program, which provides a “last dollar in” scholarship for eligible students.Students must have an Adjusted Gross Income of less than $80,000, and the scholarship’s ultimate goal is to expand access to higher education and reducing the financial burden on students and their families.The North Star Promise Scholarship program is designed to make quality higher education more affordable and accessible to a broader range of students.
