FHS band teacher retires
Michelle Boelk is the current band teacher at FHS and plans to retire at the end of the 2023 school year. Boelk has been the band director at Falls High School for about 12 years and has been teaching for over 28 years.

The Littlefork-Big Falls High School reports the following students have been named to the honor roll for the second quarter of 2022-23. The honor roll includes the following categories: The Principal’s List is for students who achieve a perfect 'A' with an average between 3.995 and 4.0.
Elks Lodge 1599 Students of the month
The International Falls School Board and Elks Lodge 1599 recently recognized the December and January students of the month. Emma Saxton is one of the January Students of the Month, and Julius Maish and Graci Bissonnette who were December students of the month.
Student recognized
Ashley Guba, International Falls, has been named to the Missouri State University’s falls 2022 dean’s list. Each semester, students at Missouri State University who attain academic excellence are named to the dean’s list.
