KEDA discusses finances

The Koochiching Economic Development Authority Board discussed an agreement with International Falls that loaned $100,000 to cover a KEDA cash flow bind in its cold weather testing program. The anticipated gap is due to a delay – sometimes up to 90 days - in payments made for the KEDA’s testing facilities and services by customers, KEDA Director Paul Nevanen told the board Feb.

A village of fish houses surround the Rainy Lake Sandbay ice road. The road can be accessed from Rainy Lake Marine, and a fee can be paid at the landing to assist Travis Thompson with maintenance.
