Kathleen Ellen Cowlishaw, of International Falls, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society, International Falls. She was 79.

Debbie Gushulak passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 10, 2022 with her family by her side. As a devoted wife, a strong and supportive mom, a loving grandma, a faithful sister, a beloved aunt, and a fun friend; Debbie will be missed by many. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, grace, and humor that she exemplified throughout her life.

Darleen (Jones) Woodbridge, 91, a resident of the Ranier Roost, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Rainy Lake Medical Center, in International Falls, Minnesota. Darlene was born on June 13, 1931, one of four children.

The family of Margaret Ann Fox Yslas “Marty” will be celebrating her life at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church on Saturday, July 2nd at 1:00 PM. ALL WHO KNEW HER ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US IN SAYING OUR GOODBYES, AND REMEMBERING THE GREAT TIMES WE HAD WITH HER IN OUR LIVES.

Teckla Helen (Kuklok) Symanietz age 96 of Foley, after a long life passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Monday, June 6, 2022 in her sleep at the Gardens at Foley. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 AM, Friday, June 10, 2022 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. Rev. Matthew Langager will officiate and burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7:00 PM Thursday evening and from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Friday at the church in Gilman. Parish Prayers will be at 6:00 PM Thursday evening. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Laurie Ann Skifstrom (Pleimling) of International Falls died Monday June 13, 2022. She was born November 15, 1939 in International Falls.

Mollie Jo Besch, 41, of Bemidji, MN and formerly of International Falls, died on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mollie was born on July 14, 1980 at International Falls to David and Natalie Stavseth.

Gene Curtis Arola, 65 years old, passed away May 24, 2022 at Miller Dwan Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota, with his sisters, June and Diane at his side. Gene was born March 15, 1957 to Milma and Hjalmer Arola.

Samantha Lee Hervey was born October 13, 1996, in International Falls, MN, to parents Leroy Eugene Hervey and Florence Helene Hervey. This began a short life of searching for truth, understanding, and spirituality, a quest whose answers always seemed to be just out of Sam’s reach.
