It’s just past Vernal Equinox, official start of spring, leaving Minnesota folks wondering what happened to winter this year…just as weatherman warns of coming real winter shot while ink dries on this journal entry.From Borderland in Rainy River country down to Iowa line, this winter has been a reasonable facsimile of nearly half a lifetime of Boise, Idaho, winters down in Treasure Valley: Scant snowfall quickly melting; few days or nights with temps fluctuating around zero; unsafe pond and river ice.
