Winter’s knock

Dick Winter hit us hard this past week, here at dandy Mississippi’s once-grand rapids on Edge of the Wilderness. Heavy West-to-East moving storm after a week has left us some 16 inches of white stuff so far—above early ice layers; sub-zero temps coming next, plus more snow for Christmas.

Question: I am driving a bus full of band students to an event and I want to know if I am required to pull a trailer to haul the band equipment. I am an experienced bus driver, but parking will be very tight and it will be next to impossible to back the bus with a trailer.

A Jackpine Lake Christmas

Old outdoor and corporate adventurer here observes and appreciates from sidelines these days; however, he’s still keen on this subject feeling closely in touch with network contacts from coast to coast and Gulf up into Canada.

A happy new year!

The many business changes, additions, openings, improvements and investments in the larger Borderland community is clearly reason for optimism and cheer in this holiday season. Going into 2023, these investments are following state, county and city infrastructure investments that needed to be in place first and must be playing a role in the changes.
