Era Ending
Thoughts here have been festering for some time now; however, it was during this most recent deer season opener that they began assembly as reported herein. This old man looked forward to several days of deer hunting this Fall at Big Bass Lake’s Idaho Avenue cabin a little North of Highway #2, with several hours to be spent each day at a location suggesting venison backstraps.

Jeremiah Johnson Chapter 4 Old Chief Great Hawk was not pleased when Jeremiah was giving a sermon concerning God’s word and his decree was that Jeremiah could talk about schooling but not about his god. He told other members of his tribe to leave and said “goodbye.” It did have impact on some of the members including the chief’s son Red Hawk and his grandson and they wanted to know more.

Question: When I come across a cattle crossing sign in the road, does that mean I yield to the farmer crossing his cattle similar to a pedestrian crossing sign? Answer: If you come across anyone crossing the road you would need to yield. It’s always important to scan the road ahead for pedestrians and hazards.
