by Sgt. Jesse Grabow Minnesota State Patrol Question: What are the laws or rules when it comes to drivers who tailgate? What can a person do to keep them from putting lives in danger? I haven’t heard or read anything for a long time about the 3 second rule, is that still a recommendation? Answer: Great questions, I believe following too closely is an underreported factor in many preventable crashes.

August is over halfway gone. The International Falls Bass Championship is next week and then a week until Labor Day and it is all just going way too fast. I want to call a halt to time and just have a week where we all just read. And if we’re being magical, then let’s just make all our meals appear and we all have the perfect books for us to enjoy all week long.
