The International Falls 12U Ice Cats played a doubleheader in Kelliher Monday, July 18. The first game was a 15-11 victory for the Falls as Emilie Belanger went 1-2 at the plate and was the winning pitcher. Game 2 was a 12-11 win as the Ice Cats got the sweep. Mara Buller went 2-2 with 2 runs and Belanger added 2 runs with McKynlee Skrien getting the win in the pitching circle.

More than 110 golfers gathered at The River Golf Course Thursday to support a newly launched service at Rainy Lake Medical Center. The 19th annual Rainy Lake Medical Center Foundation’s Golf Classic raised money for the facility’s respiratory therapy program, which launched last month.
What an exciting finish to the Senior Legion baseball game on Friday night at Scheela Field against Moose Lake/Barnum. It was a pitcher’s duel through 6 innings as the Broncos scored first in the bottom of the 4th and Moose Lake/Barnum tied it at one in the top of the 5th.
