The International Falls Ice Cats were well represented Monday at Arrowhead All-Star games in Grand Rapids.Included are:12U: Brinley Heibel, Greta Larson, and Ellie Nicholson14U: Payton Grashorn, Jaeleigh Carlson, and Cammie Cronin (Named but is Injured)16/18U: Hattie Ulrich, Sylvia Valenzuela, and Mara Buller (Named but is Injured) -Kadence Schmidtbauer was selected in her place.That’s a wrapThe Ice Cats 12U team wrapped its season this past weekend with the team finishing 2-2 in their own tournament.Last week, The International Falls Ice Cats 16/18U team closed out its summer season splitting a doubleheader against Mesabi East 16/18U.Game 1: The Ice Cats fall 7-3.

Bronco Bass

The Bronco Bass Fishing Club Sunday was on Rainy Lake with about 15 boats in the water, bringing in some impressive bags.Hoyt Nelson and Lincoln Knutson, captained by Cole Mann, took top honors with a bag of 21 pounds and 1 ounce.Biggest fish went to Tanner Gustafson with a 20.5 inch smallmouth.The captains of several teams had just fished in the Fort Frances tournament.The Bronco Bass club has one last tournament before the state tournament.
