The Broncos boys swim team competed in the True Team event last weekend, which shows the depth of a team by having every event entry earn points.The Broncos were set to swim in each event until a swimmer fell sick and was unable to compete.

Northern Revival volleyball

The Northern Revival Girls battled through some adversity this past weekend in Rochester and ended up taking 11th out of 34 teams in the 18’s Division.Anissa Wimmer, a Littlefork-Big Falls School Viking, is a part of the team.Coach Rob Hering reports they made every team that they lost to earn the win.

Destiny Piekarski, a player for Minnesota North College Rainy River Voyageurs, has taken Minnesota College Athletic Conference Northern Division Athlete of the week for the third time this year.Piekarski, a forward from Littlefork, added two more double doubles to her season total of 10, averaging 27.5 points per game and 19 rebounds per game this week to earn her third MCAC N Division Women’s Basketball Athlete of the season.Pierkarski scored 55 points, and grabbed 38 rebounds, 10 assists, and three blocks in two North Division games during the week.Minnesota North College Rainy River had both the mens and womens team in action Jan.
