How it all got started (a conversation at a early tournament between youth coaches): everyone was looking for a way to showcase wrestling to the area and families. While providing educational, excitement and fun for wrestlers from the north.
Kora Gustafson, Megan Galusha and Kadence Schmidtbauer were last week named to the Northern Lakes Conference all-conference team. Also last week, Jason Boorman, Seth Donner and Owen Erickson from the Littlefork-Big Falls boys basketball team were named honorable mention for the Northern Lakes All-Conference team.
Local wrestler Hudson Mann officiated the MNUSA State Folkstyle wrestling tournament in Rochester March 18-19. MNUSA State has 1,700 to 2,100 wrestlers take part every year, reports his dad, Borderland Mustang Wrestling Coach Jeremy Mann.

A friendly little competition between local law officers and fire and EMS, now known as “Guns-NHoses,” brought a fire and EMS win, in a 9-8 shootout Tuesday at Bronco Arena.
