Wildlife Department: The huge lynx pictured at the left was shot Thursday by Doug Laurent, left, and Gerald Batcher, while partridge hunting south of Littlefork. “We didn’t know whether the big cat was coming for us or not,” said Batcher,“so we didn’t take any chances.” The deer at the right was shot by Milo Christianson while hunting with a bow and arrow.
