Edward Soboleski 96, of International Falls died Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Rainy Lake Medical Center.

Edward was born in November of 1926, at the family home in International Falls, the son of Victor and Mary (Cezelnicki) Soboleski. He was a commercial fisherman and a woodsman throughout his life. Edward enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, watching wildlife, visiting with friends, and picking pinecones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Mary; infant sister, Zofijoa; sisters, Helen Karsnia, Lois Glowack, Emily Everett, Mary Stavseth, Maddy Soboleski, Pauline Peterson, and Rose Kuge; and brothers, Carl, Victor, Frank, and Stanley.

Edward is survived by his brother, Joseph Soboleski, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 4, at 11:30 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls, MN. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Green-Larsen Mortuary on Tuesday from 5-7:00 pm with the Knights of Columbus praying the Rosary at 6:30 pm.
