Elna Virginia LaBelle, 88, of International Falls, Minnesota died on Saturday, July 14, 2021, at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s in Duluth, Minnesota.

Elna was born June 3, 1933, in Pratt, Ontario, Canada to Arvid and Julia Edberg.

She worked as a hairdresser for many years. She also enjoyed dancing, gardening, fishing, bowling league, listening to audio books, watching westerns, watching Twins’ baseball, crossword puzzles, and being around family.

Elna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert LaBelle; parents, Arvid and Julia Edberg; brother, Melvin Edberg; sisters, Doris Foster, Lilly Stone, Millie Whitefield; and three nephews.

She is survived by her son, Cory LaBelle; grandchild, Ciara LaBelle; and sister, Evelyn O’Connell.

An open house will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. at Green Larsen Mortuary in International Falls, Minnesota.
