August 1, 1998 – September 25, 2022 Eric T. Hanson 24, of International Falls, died Sunday, September 25, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth.

Eric Thomas Hanson was born on August 1, 1998, in Roseau, MN the son of Scott and Deanna (Holman) Hanson. He grew up in International Falls where he graduated from Falls High School in 2016. Eric worked as the manager at Koerters Fuel, delivered ice in the summer and also plowed and did snow removal in the winter.

When Eric wasn’t working, he enjoyed hunting fishing, and riding wheelies with friends. Eric was kind hearted and was loved by everyone that knew him. He was always available to help anyone in need. He was extremely friendly and many people stopped by the station just to visit with him.

Eric was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Wayne Hanson in 2003. He is survived by his parents, Scott and Deanna of Warroad; sisters, Samantha of Fargo, and Elizabeth of Grand Forks; grandparents, Delbert and Linda Hanson of International Falls, and Delbert and Sandy Holman of Gemel.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 12-5:00 pm at the Ranier Hall (Community Center) in Ranier. Please wear casual clothing and bring your stories of Eric.
