Larry Lee Trappen, 69, of Kabetogama, Minnesota died on August 10, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota.

Larry was born on October 30, 1951, to Paul and Dorothy Trappen in Freeport, Illinois. He was a machinist and a welder for his career. He also enjoyed classic cars and making wood jewelry. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Trappen, and his daughter, Jennifer.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri Trappen (Oveson); sons, Nicholas and Michael Trappen; stepchildren, Daniel Tomczak, David Tomczak, Frank Tomczak, and Rebecca Tomczak; and grandson, Cyan Fehrman.

A private service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Kabetogama Cemetery.
