
Marlys Annette Imhof, 77, of Littlefork, Minnesota, passed away peacefully due to complications from pneumonia on September 15, 2021, at the Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls, Minnesota.
Marlys was born March 3, 1944, to Albert and Clara Petersen in Lake Benton, MN. Marlys attended Lake Benton Public Schools in Lake Benton, MN. She was united in marriage to Rudy Imhof on December 28, 1983, in Lake Benton, MN. They made their home in Littlefork, MN.
She was a salesclerk at Northern Lumber in International Falls for 13 years. She was happiest spending time with family and friends; she enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, cooking, playing cards, bird watching, and arts and crafts.
Marlys was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Clara Petersen; siblings, Donna (Pat) Krick, Janice (Aage) Johansen, Darwin and Marcella Peterson, and Lloyd Larson. She is survived by her husband, Rudy Imhof; son, Alan (Laurie) Imhof, of Nebraska; daughters, Brenda (Rod) Wilhelm, of North Dakota, Theresa Imhof, of Arizona, and Marilyn (Jim) Campion, of Arizona; grandchildren, Madison, Nicole, Lacey, Allie, Kelsey, Katelyn, Mikka, Jerzee, Hunter, Matthew, and Johnathon; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Lavonne Larson.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Littlefork Lutheran Church in Littlefork, MN. A luncheon will be held at the church following the service.
